Riding out from the pyramids of Giza (background) to see other pyramids that we could see off in the distant sandy desert. Would rather have had a horse.
Guessing that's the camel that gave you some pain!!!! I've seen them up close (South Africa) but never went for a ride. I've been on an elephant though. Cheezie smile!

I'll bet the Egyptians have never heard of rich Americans paying their bills with Chapstick, Kleenex, and Quarters --- You're going to give us all a bad name. Maybe you saved the next people though, and they'll be asked if they want to pay for their breakfast BEFORE they eat it! I'm wondering if they let you on the train for the return trip or if you had to ride the camels home.
